HandyShopper - For shopping lists and other simple lists.
Icon Manager - For editing mini-icons that some Palm OS applications allow you to associate with individual entries in databases.
GroovyLauncher - No longer available, because I'll probably never officially release it.
World of Warcraft Addons - It takes too much time to keep addons up to date with new patches of World of Warcraft, so I've taken my addons out of public distribution.
I've been writing software since 1981, and began my professional "day job" career in 1993 working for a major software firm (still there, growing and enjoying it all). Writing software was my hobby before it became my day job, and poor confused soul that I am, it remains my primary hobby. Some other hobbies include gaming (Xbox mostly), movies, traveling, and various other stuff. My favorite author by far is Lois McMaster Bujold.
The first computer program I wrote was on my grandpa's Timex Sinclair ZX80 (assembled from a kit). I wrote programs for the Osborne and the Commodore PET, and then my parents bought me a Commodore 64 for Christmas, and I was hooked forever.
I use my programming hobby to relax, and also to enhance my day job skills. It is a sandbox where I can try new things at my leisure without deadlines forcing me to make compromises. I frequently carry skills or techniques learned from my hobby projects forward into my day job.
Historically, I have publicly released around 15% of the programs I've written. HandyShopper has been my longest running project.
